Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary
Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the Tentative list of Philippines in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is an inland wetland area known for its swamp forests. It protects the last remaining intact and largest concentration of peatlands in the Philippines , notably the Caimpugan Peat Swamp Forest. It is a sanctuary for endemic and endangered wildlife such as the vulnerable Philippine Duck and the Philippine Sailfin Lizard.
